We are looking for a Head of Presales to lead the presales team in the Strategic Business Unit Digital Services.
Presales engineer is a critical technical resource, partnering with sales teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs. This role combines deep technical expertise, strategic communication, and a customer-focused approach to support the sales cycle and delivery of the product/solution.
The PreSales Engineer ensures successful technical engagement by demonstrating products, conducting proofs of concept, and offering in-depth knowledge of the organization's solutions and their alignment with customer requirements.
The head of presales must:
• Manage the team to ensure that the presales deliver high quality technical offer during the bid process.
• Setup the process and tools used to follow these processes according with company defined processes
• Support the development of technical pre-sales team, lead the technical offer building for the Group, coordinate cross-functional initiatives to increase collective efficiency and smooth internal interfaces.
• Assign technical pre-sale to offers during the sales process defined on group level
• Ensure each technical pre-sale follows training (technical, sales oriented, ....) to be at the expected level required by the pre sales position
Mission 1 Ensure that your presales team will be able to :
• Provide pre-sales technical expertise and support to the sales team and customers during the sales process.
• Collaborate closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements, challenges, and objectives, as well as identifying and classifying leads an additional sales opportunity with existing customers.
• Develop and present tailored solutions, including system architectures and technical roadmaps, to meet customer needs, ensuring a compelling, audience-specific technical presentations that communicate value and capabilities of the products/solutions.
• Design, build, and executing effective demonstrations and PoCs to validate proposed solutions.
• Take ownership and provide the technical input into bid proposals, bid-defence meetings, projects, and other documentation, throughout the sales process.
• Ensure a seamless handover of technical solutions to post-sales implementation teams for successful delivery.
Mission 2:
• Collaborating with leadership with engineering, operations, and delivery teams to align products and solutions with customer feedback and business priorities.
• Assisting in the development of sales strategies by identifying additional sales opportunities during the pre-sales phase.
• Support internal and external stakeholders by sharing expertise and assist in training on products and technologies.
• Participating in customer workshops, events, and other forums to strengthen relationships and understand market trends.
• Maintains up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the organization's and competitors' products and/or services in order to advise customers and the sales team effectively.
Profiles required:
• Experience in team management and pre-sales, or similar role
• Knowledge in our relevant technology : PKI, CMS, MFA, SSO, Cloud services, Docker, Identity Federation, Mobile Identity, Mifare DESfire, JIRA, Microsoft Office
• Management, animation and leadership skills
• Strategic vision and ability to deploy transformation initiatives.
• You know how to qualify a technical need, putting forward the arguments that will win the customer's decision.
• You can work effectively on several projects at the same time and can handle pressure.
• Persuasive, you have excellent interpersonal skills and are customer-oriented.
• Ability to work in English and French.
