IN Groupe Denmark operates Denmark’s national digital identity infrastructure, including MitID and NemLog-in.
We are hiring a Senior Manager to lead and scale the Application SRE function overseeing reliability, resilience, and operational governance for these nationally critical platforms.
This is a leadership and delivery role: you won’t run day‑to‑day operations, but you must bring the technical depth to guide strong engineers, mature operational practices, and ensure accountability in a high‑availability environment.
The team manages two 24/7 on‑call rotations and works closely with offshore and vendor partners. The role includes management on‑call (about one week per month) for escalation leadership.
The function will also support new international customers over time. You will help onboard these customers and strengthen the operational model to enable global growth.
Your primary workplace will be Teknikerbyen 5, Virum.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
• Lead and develop the Application SRE team with full people management responsibility.
• Ensure operational stability and governance across two 24/7 on-call functions.
• Participate in management on-call rotation for escalation leadership.
• Drive structured execution of team initiatives, improvement programs, and operational projects.
• Take accountability for onboarding new customers into the operational model, ensuring readiness, risk control, and scalability.
• Own delivery of Problem Management within the team, ensuring timely reporting and follow-up on corrective actions.
• Strengthen operational processes, resilience, and service reliability.
• Govern collaboration with infrastructure, security, and vendor partners.
• Contribute to business growth by supporting new customer engagements from an operational readiness perspective.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for the function.
ABOUT YOU
• 5+ years of leadership experience within IT operations, SRE, or infrastructure environments.
• Proven experience operating and governing business-critical systems.
• Strong understanding of production infrastructure and application environments
• Experience leading distributed teams and offshore/vendor setups.
• Experience driving operational initiatives and structured project delivery.
• Experience contributing to customer onboarding or service expansion.
• Solid understanding of incident and problem management governance – hereunder ITIL
• Professional proficiency in Danish and English
